2020 White Cliff Winemaker's Selection Pinot Noir

Named after the high white cliffs bordering the original family estate of the same name, this 2022 Pinot Noir comes from a long line of exceptional winemaking. With savory mushrooms and dried herbs complemented by ripe strawberry and cherry notes, this wine boasts the best qualities of a classic pinot noir. The palate for this wine is rich with velvet tannins, gamey complexity, and light acidity. Mild winters, cool springs, and hot summers provide superb ripening conditions for the grapes, resulting in a juicy red wine full of decadent layers. After the grapes are soaked for five days, they are gently pressed to preserve the natural fruit flavors and supple textures. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels to build its earthy flavor profile. Pair this lovely, fruit-forward pinot noir with risotto, barbecue, and antipasto with meat.
