Our 2021 Cannery Row Cabernet Sauvignon Monterey County is a powerful yet supple red wine from the Northern California coast. Blackberry and currant aromas mingle harmoniously with mocha and leather notes. After a bold, juicy taste, the complex layers develop into a savory, earthy finish. This Cabernet Sauvignon’s robust structure and pleasantly smokey finish lend credit to the winemakers’ expert techniques. After fermentation in grape skins for about seven days, the juice is pressed and aged in oak barrels for ten months. American oak and French oak barrels give the wine those subtle mocha and leather notes. Pair this bold Cab with hearty meat dishes and pasta doused in herbaceous tomato sauce. Its robust structure also makes it an excellent complement to barbecue. Serve slightly chilled after aerating in the decanter for around thirty minutes to bring out those subtle aromas.
