2022 Pajarito Merlot

2022 Pajarito Merlot is a medium-dry red wine from the Central Valley terroir of Chile. Led by head winemaker Gonzalo Pérez Abarzúa, Cremaschi is an authentic family winery where the 5th generation blends their Italian heritage with over 125 years of winemaking tradition to produce dynamic Chilean wines. Upon opening, sweet aromas of black berries and cherries, with confiture overtones and a suggestion of vanilla are revealed. In the glass, Pajarito Merlot reveals its magnificent bright purple colors with hues of magenta that you'll definitely want to give a swirl. After your first sip, look for a delicate plum taste with an elegant and long finish that lingers on the tongue. Pair this wine with game birds, beef, and cheese like Camembert. It's also a great accompaniment of pastas, smoked salmon and dry fruits.
