Fruit from 6 Mile Vineyard and Indian Rock Vineyard both located in Calaveras County. This Chardonnay is done in 60% stainless steel and 50% Austrian oak. The wood is from a 30 hectoliter (800 gallon) burgundy style cask. Using the extra-large barrel and stainless-steel combination is our effort to make a more balanced Chardonnay. All the flavor and mouthfeel of a classic California Chardonnay, but not overly rich, more crisp fruit tones.
