100 Percent pure borosilicate glass microfibers; contains no binders or additives. High loading capacity, consistent uniformity and excellent weight repeatability, rapid flow rate, particle retention range: 0.7 - 3.1 micrometer, chemical and thermal resistance (up to 550 degree C), long shelf life. Grade 141 (3.1 micrometer): Must faster filtration speed with higher loading capacity than cellulose analytical papers with similar particle retention. Widely used as a depth type pre-filter ahead of final membrane filters. Sometimes used in combination with Grade 121 as a Graded porosity protective and retentive pre-filter for highly-efficient protection of membrane filters.
