From the dramatic northern slopes of Mount Etna, Alta Mora Etna Bianco is a pure expression of Carricante — Sicily’s indigenous white grape — grown on ancient volcanic soils at altitude. The project was born from the Cusumano family’s passion for this singular terroir, where dry-stone terraces and centuries-old vines yield wines of rare character and precision.
The 2023 vintage pours a luminous golden straw, offering waxy aromas of sweet peach, poached pear, and citrus blossom. On the palate, it delivers medium body with a little extra richness from the warm vintage — sleek, polished, and layered, with juicy acidity and a long, mineral-driven finish. Aged 10 months on fine lees in stainless steel, this is Etna Bianco with more heft and depth than most.
