Auchroisk
Auchroisk Distillery is a relatively modern malt whisky distillery which was established in 1972 by Justerini & Brooks (Scotland) Ltd. Auchroisk Distillery is situated at Mulben in the heart of Scotland’s Speyside whisky region and is equipped with eight copper stills. Auchroisk malt whisky is matured in American and European oak casks and just a small percentage, including Auchroisk 10 year old year old, is released by the distillery as single malt.
NOSE: Sweet & warming with a distinctly floral & fruity style + vanilla’d fudge & home-baking.
PALATE: More vanilla running to a creamy / buttery character with peaches in syrup, candy floss & fudge.
FINISH: Long with zesty caramelised oranges, malted barley, spices + late creamy honey.
