Offering excellent concentration and intensity balanced by refreshing acidity, the 2022 is enveloped in ripe tannins and concludes with an expansive finish. OVERVIEW: “The sandy soils, cooler northeastern-quadrant climate, and 100-year-old vines in this 3-acre lieu-dit which sits next to Chateau Rayas produce a Chateauneuf with a lift and a precision that you just don't find with anything else in the appellation. A complete avoidance of wood aging of any kind serves as a sort of exclamation mark, giving us an unmasked view of the Pignan terroir.”
