This shows the richness and roundness of the Pedro Ximinez Sherry barrel in which it was aged with aromas of fig, maple, nuts, earth, orange, and reduced stone fruits in their own syrup. OVERVIEW: “The Galloway Collection is an exceptional range of single and double cask matured whiskies. Aged in first-fill casks, each expression is crafted to elevate taste and honour Bladnoch’s whisky-making heritage. The 19 Year Old is aged exclusively in Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks. The casks have imparted delectable notes of dark liquorice sticks, dried apricots and warming nutmeg into the golden-hued whisky.”

TASTING: “NOSE - Dark liquorice sticks and aged oak with a floral background; PALATE - Liquorice sticks with dried apricots, almonds and nutmeg; FINISH - Long with a dry sweetness.”
