If you want to get the best possible taste out of your espresso and give your machine a long life - then you are well advised to use the limescale protection pad. All you need is a coffee machine with a water tank between 1-3L and this efficient fleece pad.

The BWT Bestsave Pad consists of a high-performance ion exchanger with integrated activated carbon and hygiene protection. It thus offers the perfect basic protection for your coffee machine or fully automatic machine. This makes water optimisation easy.

How it works:

The food-safe ion exchanger binds calcium ions in the water and thus prevents the binding of calcium carbonate, which leads to limescale deposits. The pad is made of hygienic fleece and ensures an optimal flow. In addition to limescale, other substances are also filtered out of the water. These include taste-disturbing substances such as chlorine and heavy metals such as copper and zinc, which can come from your pipes.

The Bestsave Pad is very easy to use. Rinse the pad briefly under running water before use and place it on the bottom of the water tank. Now you should wait 8 to 10 hours. This is how long the fleece needs to remove the calcium ions (lime) from the raw water. We therefore recommend that you carry out this process overnight.

The limescale protection pad M is suitable for water tanks with a volume of 1-3L. It has an approximate filter capacity of 100L at a water hardness of 10°dH. For hyhienic reasons, however, you should change the pad after 2 months at the latest.
