Cazcanes No. 7 Añejo delivers a refined balance of vibrant agave character and rich barrel influence. Crafted from 100% organic Blue Weber agave, this tequila is aged from one to over two years in re-worked, re-charred American oak barrels and blended to taste rather than time for exceptional complexity.
The agave is gently cooked in a low-pressure autoclave over a 24-hour cycle to preserve its natural sweetness. Juice is extracted with a four-pass roller mill and combined with pure volcanic spring water from Navichi Springs. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel with proprietary yeast before double distillation in stainless steel pots with copper coils.
The result is a certified organic, kosher, and additive-free tequila that showcases layered notes of roasted agave, warm oak, and subtle spice. Smooth and elegantly balanced, Cazcanes No. 7 Añejo is perfect for sipping neat or over a single large ice cube.
