About the Product:
Iowa's cornfields have never tasted quite like this. Cedar Ridge Barrel Proof Straight Bourbon is the full-strength, uncut expression of the distillery's flagship mash bill — 74% corn, 14% malted rye, and 12% malted barley — bottled straight from the barrel at 116 proof without chill filtration. Aged in char #3 American oak inside non-climate-controlled rickhouses, the whiskey endures Iowa's dramatic swings between scorching summers and brutal winters, pushing deep into the wood and pulling back out rich with caramel, spice, and oak tannin. What you get in the bottle is exactly what the barrel made — nothing added, nothing taken away.

About Cedar Ridge Distillery:
Cedar Ridge was founded in 2005 by Jeff and Laurie Quint, making it the first licensed distillery in Iowa since Prohibition — a status Jeff earned by lobbying the state government himself. The Quint family's connection to farming and distilling stretches back to 1881, when their great-grandfather emigrated from Germany to Iowa and began working the land. Jeff's son Murphy joined the operation in 2014 and now serves as Master Distiller, pushing the program further into barrel innovation and single malt territory. Cedar Ridge has since been named Distillery of the Year by the American Distilling Institute and has claimed the title of the number one selling bourbon in Iowa — the only state in the country where a Kentucky distillery doesn't hold that spot.
