Château Les Acacias has been the property of the Peyre family for several generations. It covers 12 hectares located on hill slopes. This position allows a natural drainage of the soil. Orientated South/South East, the vines benefits from long sunshine period. This condition is very important for the maturity of the fruits. The terroir of the Château is typical of the region with clay and limestone. It is ideally situated for the culture of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. To produce a quality wine, the owners
respect the traditional viticulture methods. The cellars were entirely built by the owner himself. They are equipped with concrete vats to avoid temperature variations. Thanks to an exceptional terroir and a great care, Château Les Acacias produces a well balanced and elegant wine.
Tasting Notes:
Château Les Acacias offers a beautiful and brilliant red colour with purple tints. The nose, persistent and complex reveals ripe black fruit scents with spicy notes. On the palate, the attack, rich and aromatic, delivers cherry and blueberry jam aromas. The wine shows a nice structure, well-balanced with silky tannins and ends with an ample finish.
