Overview
Cobb Wines is a small, family-owned winery based in Sonoma County, California, founded by Ross and Diane Cobb. Known for their meticulous, terroir-driven approach, Cobb produces wines from some of California's most distinctive cool-climate sites. This Riesling is sourced from the Cole Ranch Vineyard in Mendocino County, one of the smallest and most unique AVAs in California, aged 12 months to develop complexity and depth.
Tasting Notes
Pale gold in colour with aromas of white peach, apricot, citrus zest, and delicate floral notes. The palate is elegant and well-structured with bright acidity, stone fruit flavours, and a long, mineral-driven finish. A serious, age-worthy California Riesling.
Pairing
Pairs beautifully with seafood, roasted poultry, mild cheeses, and dishes with subtle spice. Also excellent on its own as a contemplative sipping wine.
