Colombia Diego Parra Beltran Pink Bourbon

Diego and Yessica Parra are siblings and fourth-generation coffee producers from Pitalito, Huila. Their great-grandfather began cultivating coffee as a cash crop to support his family, and their grandfather and parents continued building the tradition. After discovering the potential of specialty coffee, they founded Diwan Coffee, turning a shared passion into a business focused on innovative processing and exceptional quality.

Pink Bourbon is a rare coffee variety grown primarily in Colombia and prized for its vibrant, fruit-forward character. Originally thought to be related to Red and Yellow Bourbon, recent research suggests it has roots in the Ethiopian Landrace variety. In the cup, Pink Bourbon often shines with bright citrus, notes of stone fruit, berries, and honey-like sweetness. Colombia is known for washed processed coffees, and paired with Pink Bourbon results in a remarkably clean cup that’s balanced by a juicy acidity and silky texture. Its expressive flavor profile has made it a standout in the specialty coffee world.
