Known in Italian as the "riduzione di circolazione," this small restrictor sits in the upper portion of an E61 group, limiting how much hot water flows back into the boiler so the group head retains more heat.

- This restrictor is a common upgrade for E61 groups that run cool at the puck, by reducing recirculation flow back to the boiler, more heat stays in the group head itself, which shows up as more stable brew temperature shot to shot.
