Taste
E.H. Taylor Seasoned Wood Bourbon is a remarkable expression of craftsmanship, reflecting the rich heritage of E.H. Taylor at the Buffalo Trace Distillery. The unique method of seasoning the wood barrels infuses the bourbon with earthy notes that are both intriguing and inviting. This bourbon, made from Mash Bill #1, boasts a complex profile with prominent vanilla and wood nuances. On the palate, it reveals layered caramel and bright citrus flavors, culminating in a rich finish with subtle spicy undertones that linger delightfully.

History
E.H. Taylor Seasoned Wood Bourbon is crafted by a true innovator whose vision was ahead of his time. In 1869, E.H. Taylor acquired a small distillery located in Frankfurt, Kentucky, on the edge of the Kentucky River, originally named The Old Fire Copper Distillery. There, he began renovating and modernizing the plant by purchasing copper fermentation tanks, new grain grinding equipment, and unique columnar stills. During his time, Taylor implemented several innovative distilling techniques, including aging whiskey in climate-controlled rickhouses. Unlike other distilleries that added juices and syrups to sweeten their bourbon, Taylor used his distilling experience to create a pure product. His partnership with Treasury Secretary John G. Carlisle led to the passage of the Bottled-In-Bond Act in 1897, ensuring quality and authenticity in American spirits. This fine bourbon, crafted from hand-selected barrels, is bottled directly from the barrel at more than 125 proof, representing the traditional methods of bourbon production before Prohibition.

Please drink responsibly, you must be at least 21 years of age to drink alcoholic beverages.
