Winemaker Eric Kent began his winemaking career a little later than most nevertheless that hasn’t stopped him from becoming one of the most widely respected winemakers in the last 20 years.
Kent’s Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon is vibrant and approachable with balanced fruit intensity and smooth structure. On the nose and palate, expect layers of dark blackberry, black plum and blueberry, complemented by hints of fig and subtle dark chocolate. The silky, well-integrated tannins make it enjoyable right away, even without long cellaring. It pairs great with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or a hearty pasta. Overall, an expressive and easy-to-love Cab that’s a great value for its style and region. Affordable and deliciously satisfying. There nothing Eric Kent can’t do.
