Fassbind Les Vieilles Barriques Vieil Abricot is a Swiss aged apricot brandy made from the Royal Luizet variety — high-quality apricots grown in the Canton of Valais, picked at peak ripeness and delivered directly to Fassbind for distillation. The Vieilles Barriques (Old Barrels) program rests the distillate in stainless steel tanks for at least 2 years, then ages it in oak barrels for an additional 14–18 months. The final touch is the addition of Fassbind’s house-made Bonificateur, producing a unique, intense aroma with subtle sweetness and a fine almond note.

Fassbind’s Swiss distilling heritage dates to 1846. The Vieilles Barriques line represents the producer’s long-aged fruit-eaux-de-vie program — substantially more developed and rounded than typical fresh fruit distillates, with the oak aging contributing the structural depth that distinguishes premium aged fruit brandies from younger commercial bottlings.
