INSTALLATION
A technician-level job, burr sets need to be seated evenly and the grind gap re-zeroed after installation. See our guide on grinder burr maintenance for when to replace burrs and how to change them.
PRO TIPS
- Rated burr life (900 kg here) is a guideline, not a hard limit, burrs dull faster grinding darker roasts or high-volume house blends, so judge replacement by grind time creeping up and flavor going flat, not just a kg counter.
- Always replace burrs in a matched set, never one side alone, a fresh burr paired with a worn one will grind unevenly no matter how carefully you zero the gap.
