Garrison Brother’s Guadalupe Finished In a Port Cask Texas Straight Bourbon was first introduced in August 2021 as one of this renowned distillery’s newest iterations of refined bourbon.
Aged a minimum of 4 years in charred American white oak casks and finished for 2 years in tawny port casks imported from Portugal’s Douro Valley, this select bourbon was derived from 90 hand-picked barrels originally filled in 2016 and later dumped into twenty-six 59-gallon port casks in 2020. Bottled at 107 proof, The Guadalupe Port Cask Finished Bourbon was initially offered in a run of just 4,900 bottles across the US and is slated to be an ongoing release from Garrison Brother’s distillery.
