Glen Grant 18 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a unique spirit that has been aged for eighteen years at the Glen Grant distillery, near Dufftown in Speyside. Founded in 1840 by John and James Grant, who had previously been employed at the Aberlour Distillery, Glen Grant quickly thrived due to its ideal location with access to fresh water, a steady supply of barley, and easy transportation. After the founders' passing, their successor, known as "the Major," introduced innovations like the use of electricity and distinctive tall stills. These developments contributed to the whisky's lighter, delicate profile, making it a standout choice among Scotch whiskies.
