This is Ode to the Embers - in celebration of the ways of the old. A richly aromatic expression of The Glendronach, presenting intertwined notes of peat smoke, with a dominance of Oloroso sherry casks for spiced complexity, enriched with the distillerys signature Pedro Ximenez casks.
Colour - Smouldering amber
Aroma - Cinnamon spiced toffee, apple and caramelised walnut brittle intertwine with flamed orange on a smouldering open fire.
Palate - Raisin and honeyed walnut meld with bramble ganache and smoked chocolate fudge.
Finish - Lingering sultana, nutmeg and treacle with wisps of smoked clove.
