Glenfiddich Anniversary Vintage 25 Year Old Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. Single sherry butt cask #19996 filled on Christmas Day 1987 and bottled 2013 to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Glenfiddich distillery.

Part of Glenfiddich Distillery's Rare Collection, this bottling is limited to just 286 numbered bottles.

William Grant established Glenfiddich Distillery in 1886, built it with the help of his family and Glenfiddich has spent its entire working life prospering in the ownership of subsequent generations of the Grant family. Glenfiddich Distillery is situated in the heart of Scotland’s Speyside whisky region and being equipped with twenty-eight stills the distillery has more operational stills than most other malt whisky distillery in the world. Glenfiddich Distillery has a superb visitor centre offering distillery tours and excellent food is served in the restaurant. The Glenfiddich single malt whisky range includes the Snow Phoenix.

Bronze in colour, Glenfiddich Anniversary Vintage has a nose of rich fruit cake, toasted almonds and cinnamon flavours, underpinned by a zesty citrus note enveloped in vanilla sweetness, allowing hints of liquorice, leather and ground coffee. On the tongue, it takes on a beautiful velvety texture, rich and spicy with a sweet sherbet flavour. The depth of oak tannin creates an intriguing balance of sweet and dry with a luxurious mouth coating oiliness, which is decadently succeeded by a long-lasting, sweet, oaky finish.
