Grand Marnier Cognac & Orange Liqueur is a unique spirit that was crafted by a French brand of premium liqueur in 1927. Its rich history dates back to 1827 when the first distillery was built by Jean Baptiste Lapostolle in the charming town of Neauphle-le-Chateau. In 1876, Lapostolle's granddaughter Jean married Louis-Alexandre Marnier, and four years later, they released the famous orange-flavored Cordon Rouge. Marnier was a pioneer and innovator, skillfully blending fine cognac with rare, bitter orange liqueur to create a distinctive flavor profile. This innovative spirit quickly gained popularity, becoming a staple in cocktails worldwide. In 2016, the Campari Group took over Grand Marnier, further solidifying its place in the global spirits market.
