Hennessy — a blend of the rarest and most exceptional eaux-de-vie from Hennessy’s private reserves, positioned above the XO in the house hierarchy and drawing on components that the XO program’s 100-eaux-de-vie blend cannot access — aged stocks of extreme rarity from Hennessy’s most protected cellar inventory.

The Hennessy hierarchy ascends from VSOP through XO to Paradis and then to the apex expressions: Paradis Imperial and Richard Hennessy. Where XO blends up to 100 eaux-de-vie aged 10–30 years, Paradis Imperial draws on only the most exceptional aged stocks from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne crus — eaux-de-vie of extraordinary age and character that the volume demands of the XO program cannot accommodate. Each decanter is individually numbered.
