Herradura Ultra Tequila

Herradura Ultra is an aged extra smooth tequila produced by filtering Herradura añejo tequila after barrel aging to achieve crystal-clear appearance, with a touch of natural agave nectar added to complement the honeyed sweetness the aging develops — producing the "Beyond Smoothness" character that positions Ultra as the most approachable and mixable expression in the Herradura lineup.

Ultra occupies a specific position in the Herradura range: it takes the aged complexity and depth of the añejo program and strips away the amber color through filtration, producing a spirit with the flavor development of barrel aging but the clear, clean visual presentation that makes it versatile in cocktails where the amber color of traditional añejo would be intrusive. The agave nectar addition rounds the natural sweetness that oak aging develops, creating an exceptionally smooth profile. Established in 1870, Herradura remains at Hacienda el Cuatro in Amatitán — one of Mexico's oldest continuously operating tequila estates and a recognized national historic landmark.
