Humano's Reposado starts from the same single-estate Blue Weber agave as the Blanco, grown in the Jalisco Highlands, but rests an additional four months in a double-barrel process — new American oak and bourbon barrels — before being master blended. Bottled at 40% ABV, it pours a light golden color and opens with intense fruity aromas of red apple, caramel, and vanilla, with accents of cherry and clove layered over cooked agave and light white oak. The palate stays smooth and elegant, building on that same vanilla, caramel, and white oak character with fresh berry notes, finishing rich and long-lasting. Reception is honestly a bit mixed: while the brand markets this as a completely additive-free tequila, at least one independent community taster found the vanilla sweetness cloying enough to question that claim, feeling somewhat let down by the finish despite an otherwise pleasant experience and fair price point.
