To celebrate its sesquicentennial, the Jack Daniel Distillery released a special bottling matured in a barrelhouse high on Coy Hill — the highest elevation point on the Lynchburg campus, where extreme temperature cycling drives deeper wood interaction. Built on the same 80% corn, 12% malted barley, 8% rye mash bill and Lincoln County Process charcoal mellowing as Old No. 7, this anniversary edition was barreled and bottled at 100 proof for a richer, more intense expression than the standard black label, presented in a commemorative 1-liter bottle.

This is the 100 proof, 1-liter Coy Hill collector edition (distinct from the 86 proof, 750ml commemorative bottling also released in 2016).
