PX Sherry is a classic Kavalan whisky. The new make spirit matured in PX sherry casks produces our distillery's unique character and flavour with classic fruity, nutty and chocolate aromas.
Flavour
There is a nice rosemary with a hint of lemongrass, sweet citrus and a pleasant toffee. The finale is reminiscent of an enticing sweet oakiness.
Palate
Very fruity and warm, with nice results from the combination of classical PX sherry characters and sub-tropical maturation in the heat of Taiwan i.e. smooth and mellow. The juicy raisin and honey syrup lingers persistently in the mouth.
Tasting
We suggest drinking Kavalan Solist PX Sherry Cask neat. It is also perfect with desserts.
