Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with Licorice and Cinnamon Bark

The Rusty Nail begins life as The First Nail, an oatmeal stout of epic proportions with brewer’s licorice, smoked barley, and pale malt and is then aged on cinnamon bark. She becomes The Rusty Nail after spending 15 months in 12 year old bourbon barrels. The Rusty Nail pounds your palate, challenges your perception of all that you’ve known of beer, and leaves you wanting … another sip. “A fine beer may be judged by one sip, but it’s better to be thoroughly sure.” – VWP.

Down & Dirty: 2-Row Pale, Vienna, Midnight Wheat, Flaked Oats, Roast Barley, and Smoked malts with Magnum and US Golding hops, and brewer's licorice and cassia cinnamon chips.

Rum Barrel-Aged Imperial Tiki Stout • 12.54% ABV • Notes of orange zest and nutmeg garnish aromatic waves of dark rum and tropical fruit, setting the tone for this Painkiller cocktail-inspired imperial stout.

After eighteen months in Jamaican rum barrels, Broken Blender was pushed through three unique rounds of 300lbs of fresh coconut. The full-bodied sweetness of a cumulative 900lbs of coconut was tempered with 400lbs of sliced pineapple pieces for a vibrant tropical tang, then finished with a twist of orange zest and a dash of nutmeg.

Stout - Imperial / Double | 15% ABV

Imperial Stout fermented and aged in Missouri oak Foeders. Finished on Bananas, Madagascar Vanilla Beans, Toasted Coconut, and Raw Coconut. 15% ABV. We worked hard to get the banana character to come out in this beer, it was definitely much more difficult than we anticipated. Literal tons of bananas later, trying different kinds of bananas, pushing off the release until we got it right, the result is amazing.
