Mount Gay Exceptionally Aged 25 Year Rum comes from Barbados and the world's oldest continuously operating rum distillery, with roots reaching back to 1703. This expression spent a quarter century maturing in the island's tropical climate, where the heat and humidity work on the cask far faster than in cooler latitudes, concentrating the rum into something far removed from its younger siblings. It arrives in the US through Rémy Cointreau, Mount Gay's parent house.
