The Narrative. Crafted by the Mondavi family’s next generation, Oberon Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant tribute to the unique microclimates of Napa Valley. Sourced primarily from vineyards in the cooler pockets of the valley, such as American Canyon and Pope Valley, the fruit benefits from a balance of warm sunshine and morning fog. To maximize the varietal’s expression, the winemaking team utilizes a combination of stainless steel fermentation to preserve zesty acidity and a small percentage of cold-set fermentation in neutral oak. This careful approach results in a wine that captures the brilliant, sun-drenched fruit of California while maintaining a sophisticated, crisp structure.
