The Perdomo Legacy Nicaraguan Shade-Grown, often called the “Sun-Grown” due to its spicy, reddish wrapper, is a medium to full-bodied blend created by Nicholas Perdomo III in tribute to his father.
The standout feature is its proprietary Nicaraguan Shade-Grown wrapper, a unique hybrid of Cuban and Cameroon seeds developed between 2014 and 2015. The leaf is bale-aged for 10 years and finished in bourbon barrels for a minimum of 10 months.
It offers a “Colorado” reddish-brown hue and combines the earthy, peppery depth of Cuban seeds with the natural sweetness of Cameroon.
Expect rich, complex notes of oak, molasses, cinnamon spice, and roasted earth. It’s medium-to-full strength with a creamy smoke texture.
The blend features premium Cuban-seed binders and fillers from Estelí, Condega, and the Jalapa Valley.
