The Pietro features a vertical burr orientation unlike most hand grinders, which allows for larger burrs and less retention. Those burrs are 58mm flat steel, the same diameter you'd find in a serious home electric grinder, housed in a solid aluminum body that weighs just over three pounds. The Pro Brewing burr set was designed in collaboration with Lance Hedrick and features a unimodal grind curve that reduces the concentration of fine particles while producing a high peak of larger particles, helping serious brewers extract maximum flavor from filter coffees. Each click of the precision adjustment dial moves approximately 15 microns, giving you resolution that most hand grinders simply can't match.

The Pietro in Pink hand grinder is filter-focused, purpose-built, and finished in a colorway that looks as considered on a coffee bar as it performs during the brew.
