This is 20% Merlot, 60% Nero d'Avola and 20% Syrah, fermented in steel and aged in cuve and old wood, and intended for drinking young. It has an interesting nose, of liquorice, raspberry, cherry and a touch of cola. Warm roasted herbs on the palate, sweet and fat, confected fruit, but with a nice, firm grip beneath. A plump and easy drinking style overall though.
