Named after the vast meander taken by the Douro river around the estate, this wine is structured with polished signs of wood aging. The second wine from the property, it shows plenty of ripe black fruits and good concentration.It presents a ruby dark colour, of great saturation. Floral aromas combined with red and wild fruits. Very expressive nose, full of ripe berries. It lets the acidity guess gentle tracks of tropicality and green olive.
In the mouth, intense and quite definite passion fruit that quickly is tinged in wild fruits, full of freshness. The alcohol is very well integrated. Very fresh and complex long finish.
Blend: 44% Touriga Nacional, 35% Touriga Franca, 15% Tinta Roriz, 6% Tinta Barroca & Alicante Bouschet
