INSTALLATION
DIY-friendly but requires partial group head disassembly to access the infusion valve chamber.
PRO TIPS
- Copper gaskets work-harden after repeated heat cycles, if you see water weeping from the group during backflush or brewing, replace this gasket rather than just re-torquing the chamber, since a hardened copper seal won't re-seat no matter how tight it's drawn.
- Install a fresh gasket dry, with no thread sealant or grease, the copper is meant to cold-flow slightly under clamping pressure to form the seal.
