Rancilio Silvia V3/V4 Steam Wand & Group Rebuild Kit

A complete rebuild kit for the fully articulating steam wand version of the Silvia (V3/V4), covering both the brew group and the steam side in one order. If your Silvia is leaking around the portafilter and the steam wand ball feels stiff or weeps water, this kit addresses both issues at once.

• Includes 10 pieces: group head gasket (R_17), group head screen (R_39), group head screw (R_49), steam valve seat gasket (R_1014), steam valve body copper gasket (R_1025), two steam wand/valve shaft O-rings (R_1013), PTFE steam wand ball gasket (R_1250), 2007-style steam wand spring (R39110038), steam wand spring guide (R_1248), and a PTFE gasket for 3/8" fittings (GUAR21682)

INSTALLATION

This is a full teardown of both the group head and steam wand assembly, a comfortable DIYer with basic tools can manage it, but budget an hour and go slowly on the steam wand nut.

PRO TIPS

• Since the group head has to come apart to replace the gasket anyway, always replace the screen and screw at the same time, a worn screw hole is a common reason group gaskets fail early a second time.
• On the steam wand, the PTFE ball gasket has almost no give, so remove parts in this order: tip, rubber heat guard, then the nut, trying to pull the nut before the heat guard is a common way to strip it.
