Rare Stash Bourbon #2 is an artful blend of 8.5 year old and 7.5 year straight bourbon whiskies from Tennessee and Indiana. The 8.5 YO is aged inChar #4 white oak barrels, while the 7.5 YO rested in Char #3 white oak barrels. The mash bill on both is 75/21/4. We have bottled Rare Stash Bourbon #2 at 91 proof which magnifies the incredible natural flavors, making the taste and finish the perfect array of extended flavors and soothing heat that makes every sip truly enjoyable.
Tasting Notes
The nose is rich and slightly sweet with hints of vanilla, oak and caramel.
