Redbreast Small Batch Cask Strength is a limited-edition expression that takes the signature sherried Redbreast style to its maximum intensity — initially matured in American oak bourbon casks and Spanish sherry barrels, then finished in Oloroso sherry barrels to further heighten the dried fruit, spice, and richness of the house style, bottled at cask strength and non-chill filtered.

The double sherry influence — maturation in sherry barrels followed by an Oloroso finish — is what distinguishes this expression from the standard Redbreast range. Where the 15 Year uses Oloroso as one of three cask types in a balanced program, the Small Batch Cask Strength concentrates the sherry character by returning the whiskey to Oloroso barrels for finishing after the primary maturation. At cask strength, the full intensity of the pot still spirit and the intensified sherried character are preserved without dilution — the most Oloroso-forward expression in the Redbreast range.
