Description: Ron Anejo Carupano XO Rum is a premium aged rum from Venezuela, made from the ultra-aged reserves of the private family stock. This extra old 80° U.S. proof rum is aged in closed white American oak casks without loss reposition. Only 2000 units are made yearly, numbered and sold in limited edition crystal engraved decanters inside an elegant case. The rum has a light coffee color and viscous legs that form in the glass. The aroma is complex and layered, with initial notes of wood, caramel, dry hazelnut, almond and cashew, giving way to a subtle hint of peach that evokes sugar cane and brown sugar. The taste is soft and sweet, with a roasted and toasted notes that linger in the aftertaste.
