In 1889, a Kansas grocer made his way to the newly opened Oklahoma Territory to seek his fortune. Moses had endured a challenging life, but never let hardships halt his unwavering drive for better opportunities. He found those opportunities in establishing the first legal saloon in The Territory, roughly 100 yards from the distillery that crafts the whiskey named in his tireless pursuit ’s honor today.
