Siduri Pinot Noir Russian River

On the nose, this wine has intense aromas of black cherries, and fresh blackberries. The fruit character plays nicely with layers of fresh cut cedar, dried lavender and a hint of bay leaf. On the palate, there is a nice dance between flavors of pomegranate, raspberries and blackberry compote, wood-ear mushrooms and toasted pine nuts. The structure of this wine is fruit driven, but is given its posture by light, silky tannins and nervy acidity. This wine is firing on all cylinders now, but will get more and more complex with age. Don't be afraid to tuck away a few bottles for 4-5 years.
