Old Scout 7 year is that high-rye, 99 proof Old Scout Bourbon you covet and show-off to your friends, but now (er, again) aged 7 years. Smooth Ambler is still blending in limited, small batches, at 99 Proof, and non-chilled filtered to keep that bold character excellent Bourbon should deliver.
Due to its significant rye content, Old Scout presents bold, sweet and spicy flavors with subtle apple, leather, and cherry pipe tobacco. The benefit of extended aging is particularly highlighted in the long, smooth finish Exceptionally drinkable for 99 proof. Can be served neat or makes a heck of a cocktail.
