The LAST EVER Talisker to be released by Gordon & MacPhail has been quietly maturing in our warehouses since refill sherry butt #22601101 was filled on the 3rd of March 1987.
This historic bottling, at 39 years old and cask strength of 51.4% ABV, features the iconic black Connoisseurs Choice label, recalling the famous G&M Talisker bottlings from the 1980’s.
A limited release of 300 bottles. Available mid June
TASTING NOTE
NOSE - FRAGRANT RAISIN AND CLOVE SPICE ARE COMPLIMENTED BY A HINT OF LEATHER. TANGERINE ZEST GIVES WAY TO WALNUT AND PRUNES.
PALATE - JAMMY FIGS COMBINE WITH VIBRANT STRAWBERRIES AND CRACKED BLACK PEPPER. SUBTLE COCOA DEVELOPS ALONGSIDE PRESSED APPLE AND DRIED TOBACCO.
FINISH - FULL AND SPICY WITH LINGERING CITRUS AND A HINT OF ASH.
