The Calling Single Vineyard Pinot Noir Sunnyview 2016

Each vintage, we carefully select the best single vineyard lot from across all our vineyards, and that bottling becomes our finest expression of Pinot Noir. It is quite literally the Patriarch of our family of Pinot Noirs as well as an homage to our own patriarchs who taught us to pursue our callings. This year, Patriarch comes from Putnam Vineyard on the extreme Sonoma Coast, just 6 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The vines are surrounded by Redwoods on all sides and in many areas within the vineyard. The coastal climate and the Goldridge sandy loam soils result in wines with plenty of richness along with some high-toned finesse.
