This is a heavyweight polyester jersey, fully lined dress. Sleeveless full-length gown, V-neck, empire-style seam, A-line skirt. Self-fabric narrow belt with ornate metal filigree cone tips (the cone tips were popular in the late 70’s) Back has a nylon zip; detailed smocking at the shoulders; excellent finish quality. There is a small woven size/fabric label (“100% Polyester, UK 14”), no brand. I would say it is a current size 12. I bought this a a vintage gown dress in 2008 and unfortunately it has never quite fit me (I put on weight) it is too beautiful to remain in my wardrobe getting older and never worn. This dress is over 40-45 years old and as expected there is one small mark which I have pictured, it is on the back and is barely noticeable. Please see last picture and don not let it put you off and get this elegant dress worn as it should be. Perfect for a winter wedding, party, evening event!
