Wild Life Wheat Whisky is made 100% from locally grown grains. It was milled, mashed, fermented, distilled and aged by Wild Life Distillery, in Canmore, Alberta. This is the first whisky to ever come out of Canmore; a promise, not a product.
Mash Bill: 61% Wheat, 26% Barley, 13% Rye
Nose: Fresh cinnamon buns with heaps of brown sugar and walnuts.
Palate: The youthfulness of the spirit makes an appearance with slight ethanol notes. Honey, cinnamon and some toasted oak spice joins the yeasty bread from the nose.
Finish: Short and light finish with slight tannins tugging at the sides of your tongue.
