This rare whiskey was aged in the temperate climate of the Northern California coast and bottled under the strict tenets of the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. Each release can only be made from barrels we produced within a six-month time span, giving them true seasonal variance batch over batch. Collectible and one-of-a-kind, these batches will never be replicated and are ever-changing. This is the purest expression of Redwood Empire’s craft.
The Redwood Empire stretches from San Francisco to Humboldt Bay and onto the Oregon border. The region is home to majestic coastal redwoods, some more Than 2,000 years old. The Patriarch Forest in Humboldt Redwoods State Park is home to Rocket Top, a tree reminiscent of a 365-foot-tall bottle rocket. This rye is as complex and extraordinary as the tree it represents.
